Before scheduling a showing...

Please familiarize yourself with the following details prior to calling our office.


  • Showings are required prior to processing applications as application fees are non-refundable.
  • Showings are scheduled in advance & on the hour from Monday through Friday, between 9:00am to 4:00pm only.
  • Our rental properties are shown once a day with a licensed showing agent.
  • We do not offer virtual, facetime, or video showings.
  • If you are currently off-island or unable to attend a showing during our business hours, an alternative option may be to have a friend or family-member schedule and attend a showing as a representative on your behalf.


Online Application Process

Please consider the following prior to submitting an application online.


  • Application fee is $25.00 per person. 
  • All individuals above the age of 18 must apply separately.
  • Application fees are non-refundable.  Application fees are transferable should a property no longer be available.
  • Transferable application fees are limited to a specific timeframe. Please call the office for more information.
  • Please schedule a showing with a Stott member prior to applying online.
  • It is good practice to call our office after showings, to confirm the property is still available prior to applying.
  • Please fill out the online application to the best of your ability.
  • Pet policies are put in place as requested by homeowners and are non-negotiable.


For your application to be submitted for review, the following qualifications must be met:


  • An applicant or representative of the applicant has confirmed & attended a showing with a Stott agent.
  • All applicants for group applications must apply to be considered complete.
  • Credit Score is an important factor in the application process.
  • All provided documents for proof of income must be current and legible.
  • Accumulated income of all applicants must exceed three (3) times the advertised monthly rent.
  • Turn-around time for applications can range from 5-8 business days, depending on completion.
  • Failure to provide acceptable documentation for proof of income will result in an incomplete application and will not be submitted for review.


Acceptable Documentation for Proof of Income include:

  • Two (2) most recent paystubs from an Oahu employer that show applicant's name, date, and gross pay.
  • An offer letter from employer that states the start date of employment and average monthly income.
  • Last three (3) consecutive bank statements that show applicant's name, date, and confirm average monthly income.


Unacceptable Examples for Proof of Income include:

  • W-2 Tax forms – it does not prove current income to our company standards.
  • Screenshot of Mobile banking App - unless it shows the applicant's name, date, and average monthly income.
  • Any documentation that is deemed illegible by our staff.


Pet Policies

Pet policies are put in place as requested by homeowners and are non-negotiable.


  • Emotional Support Animals (ESA) and Service animals are not considered pets.
  • Additional documentation is required. Acceptable documentations for an ESA/Service animals include:
  • Letter from a licensed therapist acknowledging applicant's needs for an ESA/Service animal. 
  • Service Animal Certification
